Weekly meta

Week of 17 October 2026. This note is counted from lists hosted here and from the tier list (25 published sources, lists since 20 August 2026). It is not a copy of the Limitless or OPTCG.GG metagame page.

What the newest lists are playing

Newest 200 hosted lists

The homepage window is Rocks D. Xebec (40), Luffy & Ace (33), Monkey D. Luffy (23). That is the room you should expect at an online cup this week, before you look at a six-month tier graphic.

Among 352 newer lists that include an OP17 card, the share chart reads Rocks D. Xebec 19.0% (67), Luffy & Ace 14.5% (51), Monkey D. Luffy 10.2% (36), Sabo 6.2% (22), Kaido 6.2% (22).

Inside lists that play at least one OP17 card, Luffy & Ace has the best first-place rate among leaders with a full sample: 4 firsts from 35 placed lists (11.4%). That number is firsts divided by placed lists on this site. It is not a game win rate.

Where that sits on the tier list

S is still the broad vote

S tier on the 17 October 2026 list: Rocks D. Xebec (61.7), Mihawk (60.22), Sabo (35.1). A tier still includes Portgas D. Ace, Enel, Monkey D. Luffy, Kaido, RG Luffy, Charlotte Linlin. Mihawk can lead the broader vote and still be a smaller slice of this week's OP17-card lists. Use the tier list for the season and the share chart for the current room.

Large events are marked on the featured results and on recent lists. A regional or championship outranks a Rumble or Chinoize cup when both are top cuts. Online cups stay in the list. They just stop looking like the headline.

What to bring

From the counts above
  • If the room looks like the newest 200 lists, pack a plan for the three names at the top of that window before you tech for a leader who is quiet this week.
  • If you want the season's consensus instead of this week's cups, start with the S tier and the matchup notes.
  • Pairing counts we have actually totaled live on the Mihawk matchup page. This note does not invent a new win-rate table.
